Darksome Desert is a Sci-Fi short film that has a quest-like story. I play a character named Vuy who is tasked by his master to search the galaxy for a stone that will bring immortality to those who possess it. The conflict arises as Vuy begins his search and comes to understand that if he finds and gives the stone to his master he will never be able be with his wife who has since deceased.

We filmed this over three days on a green screen stage. All of the character movements had to be slow, exaggerated, and precise while wearing a full body costume from head to toe. The costume prohibited any way to see. It was completely dark, no pun intended, while wearing the mask. Walking five feet felt like walking a mile due to the physical limitations of the costume. I literally had to be directed on which way to walk, how many steps to take, and how to position my body when certain events happened. It was challenging and one heck of a workout. Loved every minute of filming it.
